My interest in art making is deeply rooted in my interest in the exploration of forms, process, color, and building space.

It is an adventure through a lexicon of quasi-abstract forms that inhabit a space and flutter between real and imaginary worlds. Choosing to work in painting, drawing, works on paper, book making, sculpture, projections, printmaking, and installation art, I use these mediums as a way to make these imaginary or made-up worlds, live experiences for the viewer to be with. Through using the reference of actual objects but pulled back to abstraction through a lack of reference to a figure ground, these forms combine and recombine to create a visual banter that can be, at turns, both comical and uncanny.
